Harmony's facilities were purpose built to optimize workflow and production. We make a point of keeping our staff, applications, and equipment up-to-date to take advantage of emerging possibilities and changes.

Engineered to Optimize Workflow

Harmony has designed the layout of our facility to optimize today's print workflow. Our model is based on decades of experience helping our clients from conception to completion. Our facility mirrors a model that begins in Prepress, moved to the Press (or Digital Print), then to Bindery, then to Fulfillment (see Figure A: Production Workflow.)

1. Prepress
We can create, modify, and proof projects entirely in-house. Our staff, equipment, and applicatons are up-to-date to ensure we can accept your files and projects on both the PC and Macintosh platforms. Once the integrity of the data, content, and imposition of the project is proofed, the file is transferred to the Creo CTP system for plate output.
2. Press
Next to our Prepress section is our Press room, featuring a wide range of equipment including a single-colour 10" × 14", and 2, 4, & 6-colour 28" × 40" with coater. Most Presses have perfecting capabilities that deliver quicker, more economical throughput and produce a product more economically.
3. Bindery
From the Press room we go to Bindery where projects are cut, folded, scored, collated, coil-bound, stitched, drilled, shrink-wrapped, and trimmed.
4. Fufillment
From our Bindery, completed projects move to our Fulfillment department where they are prepared for distribution or inventory for future distribution.
5. Shipping
Upon completion your project is shipped directly to where it needs to go. At Harmony, we fully understand that a printing job is not complete until it has been delivered. Our delivery vehicles are on the road daily to ensure that we your requirements in a timely fashion.
Security
Throughout each step of the production process we've implemented security and privacy procedures, including a dedicated, secure permissable FTP site here at Harmony for each of our clients.
